The Acoustic Design System combines different acoustic components such as broadband absorbers, diffusers and bass traps in an integrated construction. The geometry and selection of the room acoustic components are adapted to the respective room and application. An essential component of the system are the custom-made TrapCore bass traps.
The Acoustic Design System makes optimum use of the available space, wall and ceiling design merge to form a room-forming extension. Our planners and craftsmen work hand in hand on individual control fronts, lowered ceilings with vertical mode absorbers or rear walls with integrated diffusers. In addition to the broadband TrapCore modules, the matching B500/600 bass traps can of course also be used as bass traps. Often, necessary installations such as ventilation ducts with or without silencers, lighting or studio cabling connections are integrated.
The surface is covered with high-quality fabric on site and can be adapted to control panels, cable ducts or other room elements. No other system uses the space in the room so effectively to optimise room acoustics and at the same time offers so much flexibility in design.
TrapCore Bass Traps
The name says it all: The TrapCore is the core of a broadband bass trap without cabinet. Each module is made to measure, even triangular or other non-rectangular geometries are possible. Each TrapCore is already covered with black fabric ex works, but a rigid inner frame is missing. This is why the fabric cover is sometimes wrinkled, and sometimes there are also visible glued areas. For optical reasons, a sound-transparent, fabric-covered cladding should therefore always be installed by the customer. Then loudspeakers can also be recessed and electrical or ventilation lines integrated. We are happy to offer the construction of the TrapCore bass traps together with the Acoustic Design System.
Trapcores are broadband sound-absorbing and fully functional ex works. The lower frequency limit varies depending on the construction and geometry and is typically between 40 Hz and 50 Hz, but if required room resonances at 25 Hz can still be achieved.

TrapCore modules are covered with a simple black fabric, but still require an additional fabric covering.
For the Acoustic Design System, in addition to our standard fabric according to color chart AT a variety of other fabrics are available .
Both the TrapCore modules and the Acoustic Design System itself are made to measure and acoustically matched to the respective room.
