Speaker’s desk AD MONO

The Absorber Desk MONO is an acoustically optimized desk for speech and vocal recordings in recording studios, post-productions, dubbing studios etc.

The flush-mounted absorber inlay can be used as a blotting pad; the AD MONO can be rolled, tilted and continuously adjusted for sitting and standing height.

Early reflections cause distortions due to comb filter effects, because – depending on the phase position – either increases or cancellations occur between the direct sound and the reflection.
Usually, in speaker booths a reflection free zone is created with the help of wall or ceiling absorbers or through a smart geometry. However, reflections at interpreter’s booths can not always be avoided completely. After all, a comfortable and relaxed position of the speaker is possibly more important for the quality of the production than an acoustically optimal positioning of the speaker’s desk.

Therefore, the speaker’s desk AD MONO shows a sound-absorbing surface where no more disturbing reflections can occur.
