Check out our new analogue room correction system during the Musikmesse / Prolight + Sound at Playroom Studios.
Of course, a convenient geometry as well as the use of bass traps – tuned or broadband – are the key aspects of a sufficient improvement of the low frequency behavior of audio rooms. But being studio planers we often use filters in fine-tuning to linearize the response of actual control rooms.
Digital systems provide several advantages but the permanent use of a ADDA conversion in the monitor routing is inconvenient. As there was no alternative available on the market, we asked Roger Schult to develop an analogue room correction filter for us.
We arranged a workshop on 5th and 6th of April 2017 during Musikmesse / Prolight + Sound at Playroom Studios Frankfurt to unveil the Cosinus’ most important quality feature under real studio conditions: its sound.
